We’re Chelsea Jewell and Moriah Hill—two moms, best friends, and the hearts behind Family Ties Event Co.
Over the years, we ran into each other at local events, church gatherings, and kids’ activities, exchanging friendly smiles and casual small talk. Our lives were running on parallel paths—both filled with love for our families, full schedules, and a shared passion for making special moments truly memorable.
Everything changed when our daughters, Josie and Lincoln, became inseparable in the church nursery. Their sweet bond brought us closer, and before long, playdates turned into real friendship. As we shared parenting tips, laughter, and long talks about our goals, one idea kept coming back to us: What if we helped other families create beautiful celebrations—without the stress?
As full-time working moms—one an intervention specialist, the other a social worker—we knew firsthand how hard it can be to plan an event and still be present to enjoy it. We’ve both felt the pressure of trying to make every birthday, shower, or gathering perfect while juggling everything else life throws at us. That’s why we created Family Ties Event Co.—to be the helping hands we wish we had when we were hosting our own events.
Now, we pour our hearts into designing balloon décor, setting up beautiful spaces, and bringing your vision to life. From small birthdays and baby showers to proms, weddings, and corporate ribbon cuttings, we’re here to take the weight off your shoulders so you can enjoy the moments that matter.
